Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus has seen a growing enrollment since its inception in 2000. A master plan for five new buildings was created in 2002. Building One was constructed in 2004 and Building Two in 2006, each with unfinished shell space for future expansion. Planning began in 2008 for a third building between the first two to house common spaces including the dining center, bookstore, and a large banquet hall space that is subdividable into three classrooms. The building’s architecture was to respect the first two buildings but represent itself as a student commons, rather than a building housing lecture halls, classrooms, and faculty offices.
