The Graham Medical Group consists of physicians and health care providers affiliated with Graham Hospital in Canton, Illinois. The new clinic addition is a two-story, 33,000-square-foot expansion of the original four-story, 68,000-square-foot medical office building. The $9 million clinic expansion features complimentary design of the original clinic, is arranged for simple patient wayfinding, and incorporates a standardized pod design for pairs of physicians and providers. Separate waiting areas are visible from the main corridor, and each reception area is identified by curved soffits and light coves for ease of visibility. The new area includes provider suites, oncology care, cardiac rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy, and a warm-water therapy pool. Wood tones and a warm palate of finishes are used throughout to provide a patient-centered, comfortable health care facility.
