Swenson Hall of Geosciences is home to the Geography and Geology Departments of Augustana College. Studio 483 Architects worked together with the faculty of each department to develop a $1.5M, 21,000-square-foot, three-phase, historic renovation of the building to incorporate smart classrooms, barrier-free design, and enhanced building interiors. Included in the design is the Fryxell Museum and a two-story building addition with an atrium and lobby, which is now home to the dinosaur skeleton Cryolophosaurus.
