Jeffrey S. Dismer
PRINCIPAL
Since graduating from the University of Illinois with a master’s degree in architecture, Jeff has established a strong reputation for building design. Inspired by his father, a self-taught architect, Jeff has deep Midwestern roots and 40 years of experience in the region, specializing in healthcare, behavioral health, civic, historic restoration, renovation, and adaptive re-use.
He is proud of his long list of legacy clients, his focus on providing outstanding service, and his 30 years of leading the architectural firm as Principal.
Jeff has a passion for giving back, and does so through participation in professional and community organizations and committees. These include the American Institute of Architects, Rock Island Preservation Commission, Development Association of Rock Island, Rock Island Building Code Board of Appeals, Rock Island Sustainable Design Advisory Team, Rock Island Preservation Society, and Rock Island Rotary, where he also volunteers as an officer for the Youth Exchange program.
He spends his free time boating on the Rock River, attending blues festivals and concerts, sketching, drawing, and doodling.
